Privacy policy

This policy explains how Pacific Edge Holdings Limited (“we”) handles personal information on this website, in line with the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020. Our products (BoardHQ, The SHEPHERD and COAT Connect) each have their own privacy policy, which covers what they collect.

What we collect here

• The contact form: your name, email address, organisation (if you give it) and your message.
• Technical data: like most websites, our hosting records your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. We use it to keep the site secure and working.
• One security cookie: it protects the contact form against forged submissions. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. If a verification check is shown on the form, Cloudflare may set its own cookies to run it.

How we use it

We use what you send us to read and reply to your message, and we use technical data for security. We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for marketing.

Who handles it

Your message is delivered to us by email, using Amazon Web Services (AWS) email delivery. The site is hosted on servers in Sydney, Australia. Cloudflare provides the verification check on the form. These providers handle information on our behalf and some are based outside New Zealand.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries only as long as we need them to respond and for reasonable record-keeping, and then delete them.

Payments

Payments for our products are processed by Stripe. We do not see or store your card details. Stripe’s own privacy policy applies to the information you give it.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, and ask us to correct it. Email admin@pacificedgeholdings.com and we will respond within the time the Privacy Act allows. Our privacy officer can be reached at the same address.

If you are not happy with how we have handled your information you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
